For the 5th consecutive year, Lebanon has been celebrating GEW gaining with each year more exposure and support from the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Bader Young Entrepreneurs Program has been the official host of GEW Lebanon for 2 years now, and in its 2014 edition, the week was celebrated like never before.
Around 56 partners from NGO’s, financial institutions, Universities and support organizations, all combined their efforts to organize over 40 activities and events that extended during the week. This year we had the privilege to partner with entities from the public sector, such as the Ministry of Economy and Trade, showing a remarkable involvement of the Lebanese government in the activities of the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Activities included workshops, training sessions, inspirational talks, startup weekends, parties and networking gatherings. For the 2nd year in a row, Bader’s annual flagship event, Networking961 acted as the official opening of GEW Lebanon, on Tuesday November 18, numerous attendees from entrepreneurs, investors, media and financial institutions joined to connect and celebrate entrepreneurship. This year, GEW Lebanon’s official slogan was “Get Inspired” as the theme chosen to celebrate the week was inspiration. The campaign was developed with the purpose to inspire and motivate the Lebanese youth to unleash their ideas and bring them to life, contributing to the economic growth of Lebanon.

Each year, GEW Lebanon is bringing in more partners, activities, involvement and engagement. As Lebanon is witnessing one of the hardest situations yet, GEW Lebanon and the partners involved continue to spread awareness on entrepreneurship and hope of a better tomorrow filled with inspiration, innovation, and creativity.
